Preparation Before Departure:
- Never forget the saying: “Hajj is a test of endurance.“
- Undergo a health check-up with a family doctor or the nearest medical facility before going on the Hajj journey. Bring necessary medications with you.
- Make sure to get vaccinated for meningitis.
- Write your name, address, and phone number on your bags and suitcases that you will use for Hajj.
- Read the guidebook provided by your company for Hajj and Umrah several times.
- Bring along the Quran and the guidebooks provided for Hajj and Umrah.
- Always have your identification card with you.
- Your luggage weight should not exceed 30 kg. Your hand luggage should not exceed 8 kg.
- Carry enough money for your personal needs. You can exchange currency at exchange offices.
At the Airport:
- Do not put your passport and Umrah card in your suitcase.
- Give your suitcase at the designated area for baggage drop.
- Keep your baggage tag and flight ticket in your hand luggage.
- From the Saudi Arabian airport until you reach your hotel, all controls are managed by the Saudi Arabian government. Keep this in mind.
- Be present at the airport at the specified time.
During Travel and Stay:
- There might be delays during entry and exit at airports due to Saudi laws. Practice patience.
- Remember that Hajj is a demanding form of worship.
- Follow the instructions of your group leader and do not separate from your group.
